Mascha 'fed up' with life on Merseyside

Liverpool's Argentinian workhorse Javier Mascherano has claimed he is 'fed up' with life in England and is ready for a move in the same direction as Xabi Alonso, to La Liga. But hang on a minute Javi. What's wrong with Liverpool? Treated like a god, earns a boatload of money, wins trophies, and plays alongside Steven Gerrard. Seems alright to me!

Mascherano has stated his desire to join up with fellow-countryman Lionel Messi at Barcelona. However, Mascherano's proposed move to the Catalans depends on whether Liverpool receive the right offer, as Mascha's agent, Walter Tamer, somewhat stated rather obviously. "I think if there is no good offer, they will not let him go". Probably Walter, probably.

Should Xabi Alonso leave Anfield, which is looking more than likely, Benitez will surely have to battle hard to keep Mascherano. Should he fail in his attempt to keep either of them, we'll be left with Lucas Leiva to fill Mascha's boots, and that doesn't fill me with joy. I'm continuously puzzled as to why he's still playing Premier League football - he's possibly the worst PL player I've ever seen, along with that Swedish bloke who played for Leeds all those years ago. I can't even remember his name, that's how bad he was.

Anyway, enough slagging off our Lucas - next thing you know, he'll have launched a complaint on Twitter about me.
