Fernando Torres has agreed a new contract with the Reds that could see the Spain International stay at Anfield until 2014.Such relief for me and my fellow Liverpool supporters, as Torres has been linked on a number of occasions recently to Manchester United, Chelsea and Manchester City – that’s an insult for a start. But Torres has now committed his future to the Merseyside Club, ensuring the Liverpool faithful can enjoy more wondergoals, such as the Van Basten-esque screamer against Blackburn last season.
The only question that remains over Torres now, is what sort of hairstyle he’ll be modelling come Sunday afternoon.
